Botanical Gelprinting
Using plants and flowers to create prints on a gelplate is great fun! Beautiful layering, incredible detail and contrasting colours all lead to final prints worthy for framing, adding to cards, or use in collage.
All materials are provided. Workshop is relaxed and plenty of support and help along the way.
Suitable for complete newbies to experienced artists wishing to expand their skills.
Collage Capers
Abstract collage is a great introduction to creating art without the need for expensive paints, brushes or canvases. Papers - printed, found or altered, a glue stick and a piece of card is all you need to create your own set of three small collages, framed and ready to hang!
No requirement to draw or paint - as long as you can arrange papers in a pattern or shape which YOU think looks good together, you can do this!
All materials provided and plenty of helpful advice along the way. Suitable for absolute beginners through to experienced artists.
Chine Colle on a gelplate
Adding collage and paint as layers on your gelprint gives depth and variation within your work. All manner of collage can be used - type, images, gelprinted papers, magazine images - the list is endless!
All materials are provided and there is plenty of advice and guidance along the way. Create a framed piece to take away with you.
Suitable for complete newbies to experienced artists wishing to expand their skills.
From Mark-making to abstraction
Free up your mark-making with a playful, anything goes mark-making session using a variety of tools and materials before using a viewfinder to find interesting compositions within your page.
From there, you will use your chosen crop as inspiration for a larger artwork on MDF board.
All materials provided, and a light lunch is included.
Suitable for complete newbies to experienced artists wishing to expand their skills.
