Awakening

'Awakening' is an original mixed media and collage work on canvas, 80cm x 60cm. 

The quiet stillness of a valley wakening to the morning glow as the sun rises, with the shadows and dark places gradually receding as the sun climbs. This piece uses a variety of mixed media as well as  collage papers created on my gelliplate to capture the gentle stirring of nature as dawn comes.
